Who is Friuli Venezia Giulia?

Friuli Venezia Giulia is one of the 20 regions of Italy and one of five autonomous regions with special statute. It is the perfect destination not only for trips to discover the sea, history and cuisine, but also to rediscover a deep connection with the land and nature thanks to an almost endless list of wonderful parks, lagoons, nature reserves and mountains.

​One Thing in particular Friuli Venezia Giulia is known for is it's winemaking. 

The winemaking history of the Friuli Venezia Giulia has been strongly influenced by the history of the Friuli and Venezia Giulia regions, that were important stops along the Mediterranean spice route from the Byzantine Empire to the trading center of Venice. During the Middle Ages, travelers passing through this area brought grapevines.
